Grokipedia, Musk's AI Encyclopedia, Hasn't Processed Edits in Over Three Months

According to a Lawfare report cited by PANews on Aug 7, Grokipedia — the AI-generated encyclopedia under Elon Musk's xAI — stopped processing edit requests on April 24 and has remained frozen for more than three months. The automated backend phased out model-generated edits between March and mid-April, leaving only human-submitted requests stuck in limbo. Fact corrections make up 97% of submissions; previously, 76.5% were approved or adopted. Snapshots of roughly 480 pages show no changes, and it's unclear if xAI is planning an overhaul or abandoning the project.
