Zcash Rebounds to $264 as MACD Golden Cross Meets Institutional Accumulation

ZEC rose 1.61% to $264.51, backed by a MACD golden cross and neutral RSI. Cypherpunk Holdings holds ~2% of circulating supply, while Reliance Global Group shifted capital from BTC/XRP/ETH into ZEC. Despite extreme fear (Fear & Greed at 9), short-term momentum and privacy narrative support the rally.

Former NYSE market maker maps out seven signals for a Bitcoin bottom, with $63,735 as the first line to watch

Eric Krown, a former NYSE Arca options market maker and now a full-time crypto trader, used a Crypto Banter interview to lay out a multi-signal checklist for identifying a potential macro bottom in Bitcoin. Rather than relying on a single price target, he pointed to a cluster of higher-timeframe indicators that are converging in a narrow window. His first threshold is a monthly close above $63,735, the level tied to Bitcoin’s 55-month exponential moving average. He also highlighted a stochastic trigger at $64,371, monthly MACD momentum easing, an RSI reading near or below prior cycle lows, a recurring 168-day lag from a biweekly MACD histogram signal to the final price low, and an LTI model that has historically marked bottoms after roughly 20% to 23% additional downside. In this cycle, that LTI drawdown has reached 22.64% since a strong buy signal in January 2026. Krown said that if Bitcoin closes the month above the cited levels, his confidence that a macro bottom is forming rises to about 85%. He also pointed to fear and greed readings that stayed below 20 for two to three months and now sit at 28, a backdrop he said matched prior macro lows in 2015, 2019 and 2022. Beyond crypto, the discussion also covered sector rotation in equities, his view that semiconductors have peaked short term, and his technical outlook for gold, silver and copper.
