Grayscale seeks quarterly staking payouts and lower fees for GSOL

Grayscale has filed an amendment with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for the GSOL trust agreement, with the change slated to take effect on Aug. 7. The filing would shift the product’s handling of staking rewards by distributing them to investors in cash every quarter instead of retaining them inside the fund. It would also reduce the sponsor fee to 0.19% from 0.35% and cut the staking fee to 7% from 23%. According to the information cited by Techub and sourced to CoinPost, GSOL was listed on NYSE Arca in October 2025. The fund currently stakes all of its SOL holdings, and its annualized gross yield is about 6.1%. The proposed revision would alter both investor distributions and the product’s fee structure.
