Gate2026-09-30 09:33:41Gate weekly report says ETF inflows improved, while higher Treasury yields kept pressure on risk assetsGate’s latest institutional weekly report said the period from Sept. 21 to Sept. 27 saw some support for U.S. equities and crypto assets as oil prices pulled back and trade risks eased. At the same time, the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury moved above 5%, leaving valuation pressure in place for risk assets under a high-rate backdrop. On the flow side, the report said weekly net inflows reached about $2.386 billion for BTC ETFs and about $690 million for ETH ETFs, while stablecoin supply increased by roughly $1.59 billion. That pointed to a pickup in institutional capital and on-chain liquidity. Market structure, however, remained split. Gate TradFi posted about $100 billion in weekly trading volume, while on-chain capital kept concentrating in structural themes such as USDC and SOL LST. In derivatives, BTC rose 4.06% on the week, but cross-exchange open interest fell 12.81%. Funding rates briefly turned negative and options open interest contracted sharply, a sign that deleveraging appeared alongside the price rebound. The report also said Gate Institutional is continuing to expand its multi-asset trading system across spot, futures, stocks, ETFs, options and other TradFi assets, supported by infrastructure including OES and CrossEx.270
