OpenAI's next-generation model Astra has reportedly moved from internal dogfooding into early testing with partners, according to a Beating AI flash citing leaker leo. A small circle of partners currently sees the model under the codename ultima-alpha. leo said if this weekend's feedback comes back normal, OpenAI plans to expand early access further next week, and to widen the open scope between September 3 and the end of the following week.
