Unitxyz2026-08-28 22:23:51Unitxyz reportedly buying $15 million worth of hyperliquid via Coinbase Prime using TWAPChainCatcher, citing monitoring by HyperliquidNews, reported that Unitxyz is currently using funds from Coinbase Prime to buy $15 million worth of hyperliquid through a time-weighted average price, or TWAP, strategy. According to the report, once the purchase is completed, Unitxyz’s total staked holdings will reach 1 million tokens. The update also said that 500,000 hyperliquid tokens committed to HIP-3 staking cannot be reused for HIP-4. As a result, launching both HIP-3 and HIP-4 requires a combined stake of 1 million hyperliquid, valued at about $80 million. The brief did not provide extra details on the execution timeline beyond saying the buying activity is ongoing.980
Hyperliquid2026-08-28 22:23:30Unitxyz Buys $15M Hyperliquid via Coinbase Prime, Staking Push Targets 1MUnitxyz has been using Coinbase Prime funds to buy $15 million worth of Hyperliquid through a TWAP strategy, according to HyperliquidNews monitoring cited by Odaily Planet Daily. Once the purchase is complete, Unitxyz's total staked amount is expected to reach 1 million Hyperliquid tokens. The staking math matters because 500,000 Hyperliquid already assigned to HIP-3 cannot be counted again toward HIP-4. Launching both HIP-3 and HIP-4 at the same time therefore requires 1 million Hyperliquid to be staked in total. That combined amount is worth about $80 million based on the value cited in the update. The information was published as a 7x24 flash on Odaily. It did not include an official statement from Unitxyz, Coinbase Prime, or the Hyperliquid team, nor did it specify how many tokens the $15 million purchase represents. The exact execution price, order schedule, and final completion date were not disclosed. HyperliquidNews was the only named source.930
