Liverpool reportedly spoke again with Lamine Camara's agents before January, while Monaco are said to want £60m for a winter sale.

Liverpool have reportedly made fresh contact over Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara before the January window. TEAMtalk, citing The Sun, reported that the club have again spoken with the player's agents and asked to be kept informed of developments.

Camara talks continue

TEAMtalk reported, via The Sun, that Liverpool have once again spoken with Lamine Camara's agents as they 'step up their interest' ahead of the January window, with talks continuing behind the scenes. Camara was on the verge of joining Chelsea for £47m on deadline day, only for the deal to collapse at the last moment.

Monaco's January price

Monaco now want £60m to let Camara leave in January. Liverpool want a new midfielder before next summer.

Midfield shortlist

Florian Plettenberg confirmed on Tuesday that Camara, Alex Scott and Felix Nmecha are all on Liverpool's midfield shortlist. TEAMtalk also reported that Liverpool and Manchester United are both keen to bring Nmecha back to the Premier League.

Borussia Dortmund have decided they want to keep Nmecha in January, which will make any winter deal very difficult. Dortmund have quoted interested clubs €100m (£84m) for Nmecha, while the €80m (£67m) release clause in his contract will become active next summer.

Mac Allister uncertainty

TEAMtalk reported there is uncertainty over Alexis Mac Allister's future because he still has not been offered a new contract. Sacha Tavolieri claimed that a new contract for Mac Allister is 'not on the agenda' at Anfield and that his sale is becoming a 'concrete possibility'.

Mac Allister said in September that he was 'very sad' not to have been offered fresh terms during the summer.
