Sami Ouaissa missed Jong PSV's Premier League International Cup game against Ipswich Town on Tuesday after being due to play. The forward did not appear on the pitch or on the bench.
Absence on Tuesday
According to Rik Elfrink on X, Ouaissa was absent from the pitch again on Tuesday afternoon. Elfrink called his absence highly striking but did not know why he was missing.
His situation at PSV
PSV signed Ouaissa from NEC for €9 million this summer. His time in Eindhoven has yet to be a success, and he has yet to make a first-team appearance for PSV. He arrived in Eindhoven injured and is still not fit.
Monday and Tuesday plans
On Monday, Ouaissa played 45 minutes for Jong PSV in their 1-0 defeat to FC Dordrecht. He was then due to face Ipswich Town in the Premier League International Cup on Tuesday.
Match outcome
Jong PSV did not need Ouaissa in England and won 7-0 against Ipswich Town. Mikkel Bro Hansen scored three goals and provided two assists.
