HackQuest announced the winners of the 0G APAC Hackathon. The event drew 1,145 participants worldwide, received 293 final project submissions and generated more than 1.04 million social media impressions. Ghast AI, NeoSoul and Anima took the top three places, while several other teams received Excellence Awards.

According to an announcement published by HackQuest(@HackQuest_)on June 13, the 0G APAC Hackathon has officially released its list of winners. The event attracted 1,145 participants from around the world, received 293 final project submissions and recorded more than 1.04 million social media impressions. The winning projects span areas including AI Agents, decentralized inference, agent identity, on-chain payments, privacy-focused payments, messaging infrastructure, digital asset custody, DeFi yield optimization, long-term memory and data availability.

Ghast AI, NeoSoul and Anima take the top three spots

First place went to Ghast AI(@Ghast_AI), described as a crypto-native AI agent client built on 0G. The project supports decentralized inference, user-owned long-term memory, censorship-resistant access and a portable agent ID. Its design brings together several core requirements for AI agents running on decentralized infrastructure, including inference, memory, access and identity.

Second place was awarded to NeoSoul(@NeoSoulAI). The project focuses on building a trust layer for an emerging agent economy and provides infrastructure for verifiable permissions, accountability and recovery mechanisms for AI agents. Third place went to Anima(@anima_0g), a CLI-native agent framework in which an agent’s identity, memory, inference, wallet and economic activity all run on 0G decentralized infrastructure. Anima also supports independent persistence across devices.

Excellence Awards include collaboration, payments, messaging and custody projects

The hackathon also announced a group of Excellence Awards. Alsphere(@AlsphereAI)is building a decentralized collaboration and resource network for the AI Agent ecosystem. Hash PayLink(@HashPayLink)provides on-chain payment links and crypto payment infrastructure services. Beam(@beam_xyz)offers an AI Agent-based framework for automated on-chain interactions and task execution. Stealth Pay(@StealthPayHQ)focuses on privacy-preserving crypto payment solutions. Herald Protocol(@HeraldProtocol)provides messaging infrastructure for Agents and on-chain applications.

Other Excellence Awards recipients include Aegis Vault(@AegisVault), YieldBoost AI Protocol(@YieldBoostAI), MemoriaDA(@MemoriaDA), Coal(@CoalAI_)and Orcus(@OrcusProtocol). Aegis Vault provides secure custody and permission management services for digital assets. YieldBoost AI Protocol combines AI and DeFi in an intelligent yield optimization protocol. MemoriaDA provides a decentralized long-term memory and data availability layer for AI Agents. Coal explores infrastructure for AI Agent collaboration and value exchange. Orcus is an identity and collaborative execution protocol for the intelligent agent ecosystem.

The hackathon centers on AI and Web3 application building

The 0G APAC Hackathon is intended to advance deeper integration between AI and Web3, and to encourage developers to build a new generation of AI Native applications on 0G decentralized AI infrastructure. The projects named in the results focus on scenarios around Agents, data, compute and payments, while placing components such as agent identity, memory, inference, wallets, economic activity, permissions, accountability, recovery, collaboration and value exchange into different application structures.
