According to on-chain monitor EmberCN, an Ethereum whale who held ETH for over eight years has completely liquidated its position, selling the last 20,000 ETH just 30 minutes ago. In total, the whale sold 37,598 ETH today, receiving 58.69 million USDS at an average price of $1,561 per ETH.

The original cost of these tokens was $829 per ETH, acquired eight years ago, representing a total cost of approximately $31.17 million. At the selling price, the whale realized a profit of $27.53 million, equivalent to an 88% return. This exit marks the complete departure of a long-term holder, providing insights into the behavior of veteran crypto whales.
