Stablecoin infrastructure platform Interlace has teamed up with XAgent, Cobo, BlockSec, Stable, Conflux, Bitget Wallet, Hetu and other ecosystem partners to initiate a white paper titled “The Value Transfer Layer of the AI Economy: From Concept to Implementation.” The paper introduces an eight-layer architecture for Agentic Payment infrastructure.

ChainCatcher reported that stablecoin infrastructure platform Interlace has announced a joint initiative with multiple ecosystem partners, including XAgent, Cobo, BlockSec, Stable, Conflux, Bitget Wallet and Hetu, to launch a white paper titled “The Value Transfer Layer of the AI Economy: From Concept to Implementation.” The document focuses on how value can be transmitted within the AI economy and places Agentic Payment infrastructure at the center of that discussion.

An eight-layer framework for Agentic Payment infrastructure

According to the announcement, the white paper presents, for the first time in a systematic form, an eight-layer architecture for Agentic Payment infrastructure. The framework covers Agent applications, payment execution, custody and governance, trust and compliance, stablecoin settlement, public-chain base layers, user access and liquidity, and causal verification. These components are organized as key links in the process through which AI Agents interact with payment systems, settlement networks and verification mechanisms.

The structure described in the white paper brings together the application layer, execution layer, asset custody, governance design, compliance controls, stablecoin-based settlement, blockchain infrastructure, access channels, liquidity support and verification processes. In doing so, it sets out a framework for discussing how AI Agents can participate in value transfer across different technical and operational layers.

The participating parties said that value circulation in the AI economy requires cross-domain coordination, rather than relying on a single protocol or a single product to complete the entire process independently. The eight layers outlined in the white paper also correspond to the different roles that ecosystem participants can play across stablecoin infrastructure, wallets, custody, security, public chains, liquidity and verification.

Formal release expected within one to two months

The white paper is expected to be officially released within the next one to two months. At that time, it will further examine core topics including AI Agent payment permissions, compliance risk control and cross-chain interoperability. These areas are directly connected with the practical implementation of Agentic Payment infrastructure and form the main scope of the paper’s discussion from concept to deployment.

Interlace’s collaboration with XAgent, Cobo, BlockSec, Stable, Conflux, Bitget Wallet, Hetu and other partners points to a coordinated effort around stablecoins, AI Agents and blockchain infrastructure. As the white paper moves toward publication, the participating parties will use the eight-layer architecture as the basis for presenting a more structured view of the value transfer layer in the AI economy.
