Alkanes Protocol Critical Bug Enables Unlimited Token Minting

According to feedback from community user @CG_BRC20, the Alkanes protocol has suffered a severe vulnerability that allows attackers to mint tokens indefinitely without consuming fuel. A specific address has already exploited this bug to generate 100 million DIESEL tokens out of thin air. The protocol's official Espo flow browser and the Subfrost interface are unable to display the abnormal holdings, leaving affected users without a reliable view of their assets. Holders of this token are advised to exercise caution due to the risk of misleading asset displays. The Alkanes official Telegram group administrator has stated that funds remain secure, but no specific timeline for a fix or the full scope of the impact has been provided.
