According to ChainCatcher, crypto KOL Ansem wrote that Bitcoin is currently trading at a fairly important point within the current range. He said BTC is retesting the key weekly resistance area around $65,000 to $66,000. At this level, Ansem said he would not open a long position in BTC, because he believes there are better assets in the market for long setups.

The levels outlined by Ansem

Ansem said that if BTC closes above the $65,000 to $66,000 zone, it could retest $72,000. He added that he is inclined toward this scenario. In his view, whether Bitcoin can close above that resistance band is a central condition for assessing the near-term direction.

He also described the opposite case. If his view is wrong, and BTC falls below $63,800 while showing weakness, the short-term structure would turn bearish and BTC could retest $60,000. If that happens, Ansem said he would consider shorting, with a stop-loss placed above the short-term consolidation range that existed before the breakdown. He also noted that the FOMC minutes scheduled for 2:30 today could affect market direction.
