Anthropic said it is widening access to its most advanced AI models, allowing verified institutions to use Claude Opus 5.5, Claude Sonnet 5.5 and Claude Mythos 5.1 for cybersecurity testing. The expanded access applies to U.S. government agencies, financial institutions and large software vendors participating in Project Glasswing. Anthropic said any newly added institutions will have to go through a joint review process conducted by the company and the U.S. government. The move broadens availability of Anthropic’s top-tier models, but only within a vetted framework tied to security testing use cases and institutional eligibility requirements outlined by the company.
