Anthropic said its annualized revenue has climbed to $30 billion, up sharply from $9 billion at the end of 2025. The revenue update arrived alongside new details of a long-term compute arrangement involving Broadcom and Google, with supply commitments extending through 2031.
High-spending enterprise customers keep rising
The company said it now has more than 1,000 enterprise customers paying over $1 million per year. That figure has more than doubled since February, pointing to fast growth among its largest paying users. The shift is notable because these customers tend to anchor recurring revenue.
Chief business officer Paul Smith also said some enterprise clients responded positively to Anthropic “showing principle” in its dealings with the U.S. government. No extra detail was given with that remark, but the company presented it as a sign that its brand still carries weight with corporate buyers.
Broadcom and Google lock in TPU-related supply
According to Anthropic’s statement, the three companies reached a long-term agreement under which Broadcom will use Google’s tensor processing unit, or TPU, designs for chips and secure supply through 2031. Anthropic expects to access about 3.5 gigawatts of compute capacity starting in 2027.
3.5 GW is roughly comparable to the full output of a mid-sized nuclear power plant. Broadcom said actual consumption will still depend on Anthropic’s commercial growth, but the agreement gives the company priority access to supply. That matters. Reliable compute has become one of the hardest constraints in large-model competition.
A broader hardware mix beyond NVIDIA GPUs
For Anthropic, the deal also broadens its hardware base. By working with Broadcom and Google on TPU infrastructure, the company gains an alternative compute path outside a pure dependence on NVIDIA GPUs.
We train and run Claude on a variety of AI hardware, including AWS Trainium, Google TPU and NVIDIA GPU, which means we can choose the best chip for a given workload.
This platform diversity gives customers who depend on Claude for critical work higher performance and stronger reliability.
Mizuho analysts estimated that Broadcom could generate $21 billion in AI revenue from Anthropic alone in 2026, rising to $42 billion in 2027. The forecast points to the scale now attached to long-duration AI infrastructure contracts.
