According to an official update cited by TechFlow on June 11, Arc Privacy will serve as Arc’s confidential smart contract engine and provide optional private transaction and private smart contract capabilities. The design is aimed at enterprises and developers that need to handle sensitive processes on public blockchains, including payroll distribution, treasury management, trading and asset issuance, while still preserving controlled access for authorized parties.

Arc said the privacy execution approach is intended to remain compatible with audit, compliance and governance requirements.
