Arcus, a decentralized exchange built by the team behind dYdX, has rolled out a new protocol on Robinhood Chain that turns perpetual futures positions into transferable ERC-20 tokens. The system also lets users post tokenized stocks as collateral for leveraged trades without selling those holdings first. As part of the launch, Arcus introduced pBTC3x and pHOOD3x, products designed to give 3x exposure to Bitcoin and Robinhood’s HOOD stock token. In comments shared with Cointelegraph, CEO Eddie Zhang said traditional finance spent decades packaging advanced strategies into easier-to-access products such as leveraged ETFs, and argued that the next step is bringing those strategies natively onto blockchain infrastructure. Arcus said the exchange has logged more than $2 billion in trading volume since launching on Robinhood Chain, with average daily volume above $100 million. Separate data from DeFiLlama shows Robinhood Chain has reached $596 million in total value locked since its July 1 launch, placing it among the top 15 chains by DeFi TVL.

New products include pBTC3x and pHOOD3x

In a Tuesday press release shared with Cointelegraph, Arcus said the rollout includes products such as pBTC3x and pHOOD3x. The two products offer 3x exposure to Bitcoin and Robinhood’s HOOD stock token, respectively.

CEO outlines the firm’s thesis

Arcus CEO Eddie Zhang said: 「Traditional markets have spent decades making sophisticated investment strategies easier to access through products like leveraged ETFs. We believe the next step is making those strategies native to blockchain infrastructure.」

Volume figures and chain growth

Arcus said it has recorded more than $2 billion in trading volume since launching on Robinhood Chain, and that average daily volume has exceeded $100 million.

According to DeFiLlama data, Robinhood Chain has grown to $596 million in total value locked since its July 1 launch. The chain now ranks among the top 15 by DeFi TVL.
