On-chain monitor @ai_9684xtpa said the attacker behind the latest Binance hot wallet incident appears to be the same party tied to the earlier Kelp DAO exploit. About 30 minutes before the post, the Binance attacker moved all 74.56 million ARB to address 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000DA0. Arkham has labeled that receiving address as belonging to the Kelp DAO hacker. The tokens had not been moved again or sold at the time of the update. Kelp DAO was attacked on April 18 this year, with losses of about $292 million in rsETH, according to the post. The update points to a possible on-chain connection between the two incidents, based on address labeling and the latest transfer activity observed by the monitor.
