Binance officially announced that the stock asset management scale on its platform has exceeded $1 billion. The milestone was released on July 1, 2026 via its official social media channels, highlighting substantial progress in tokenizing traditional financial assets (equities) and compliant custody.
Stock-type assets are an expanding product line initiated by Binance in 2024, allowing users to directly hold and trade tokenized certificates representing individual stocks. The $1 billion scale not only reflects robust user demand but also validates the viability of centralized exchanges as intermediaries for equity assets. At current market valuations, this scale is comparable to the equity custody of a mid-sized traditional broker.
Binance states it will continue to invest in compliance resources and broaden asset coverage. Given the tightening global regulatory landscape, this figure sends a positive signal: as long as fiat on-ramps, compliant custody, and asset security are assured, the bridge between traditional finance and the crypto world is being built at an accelerating pace.
