Binance Wallet has opened its eighth Prime Sale campaign with RE, a decentralized reinsurance protocol. The Pre-TGE sale ran on June 17, 2026, from 12:00 to 14:00 UTC, offering 10 million tokens at $0.05 each for a total raise of $500,000. The allocation represents 1% of the project’s total supply of 1 billion tokens.
Eligibility rules and sale structure were set in advance
Users needed at least 255 Binance Alpha Points to join, and 15 points were deducted upon entry. The event used Binance Wallet’s oversubscription model. Participation was made with BNB, and the maximum subscription per user was 3 BNB. Final allocations were distributed on a pro-rata basis based on total deposited amounts.
After the sale closed, participants were set to receive an RE Key on BNB Smart Chain. The key serves only as proof of participation and is not tradable. Any unused BNB is refunded, while tradable RE tokens are not delivered immediately after the subscription window ends.
RE is positioning itself in on-chain reinsurance
According to project details, RE connects blockchain capital with insurance and reinsurance markets. The project says it has written more than $500 million in premiums, works with over 35 insurance companies, covers more than 700,000 policyholders, and has total value locked above $471 million.
Its current portfolio includes homeowners insurance, commercial auto, workers compensation, small business commercial coverage, and personal auto insurance. The project also says its longer-term plan extends beyond insurance into collateralized financial products such as trade finance and guarantees. It describes the global reinsurance market it is targeting as a roughly $1 trillion sector.
June 18 token airdrop is the next date to watch
The participant flow has four steps: join the Prime Sale with BNB, claim the RE Key after subscriptions close, receive any unused BNB back, and then wait for the RE token airdrop to Alpha accounts. The airdrop is scheduled for June 18, 2026 at 12:00 UTC.
Once tokens are distributed, users can access trading through Alpha’s limit order function. Market attention is likely to center on opening demand, post-airdrop liquidity, lock-up mechanics, and activity on Binance Alpha. With only 1% of total supply allocated in the Prime Sale, early price swings are also in focus.
Regional restrictions and compliance checks still apply
Binance also noted that participation depends on regional restrictions, KYC requirements, local regulatory compliance, and eligibility for Alpha Points. The exchange added that blockchain congestion or delays may affect participation results.
