According to SoSoValue data, Bitcoin spot ETFs experienced a net outflow of $231 million on June 29 (Eastern Time), marking the eighth consecutive day of capital withdrawals. As of press time, total net assets of Bitcoin spot ETFs stood at $73.19 billion, with the ETF net asset ratio (market value relative to Bitcoin's total market cap) at 6.05%. Cumulative net inflows since inception remained at $51.375 billion.
ETF Flow Divergence: ARKB and GBTC Buck the Trend, IBIT Suffers Heavy Outflows
Within the overall net outflow environment, individual fund performance varied significantly. The largest net inflow was recorded by ARKB, jointly issued by Ark Invest and 21Shares, which attracted $49.97 million, bringing its total net inflow since listing to $1.209 billion. Grayscale's GBTC also saw a net inflow of $35.10 million, though its historical cumulative net outflow still stands at a massive $27.108 billion.
In stark contrast, BlackRock's IBIT became the biggest loser of the day, reporting a single-day net outflow of $300 million, the highest among all Bitcoin spot ETFs. Despite this, IBIT's cumulative net inflow since launch remains at $60.466 billion, making it one of the largest products in the market. Factoring in the three funds mentioned, the remaining ETF products collectively recorded a net outflow of approximately $16 million.
Persistent Outflow Signal: Market Pessimism or Temporary Correction?
The eight-day streak of net outflows from Bitcoin spot ETFs reflects a cautious shift in market sentiment. While ARKB and GBTC managed to attract small inflows, the overall capital exodus—especially the massive outflow from IBIT—suggests heightened risk aversion. Factors such as recent Bitcoin price volatility, macroeconomic policy uncertainty, and profit-taking could be driving this trend. The cumulative net inflow still exceeding $51 billion indicates that long-term capital foundations remain intact, but the short-term direction of fund flows deserves close monitoring. Whether ETF inflows can reverse will be a key gauge of renewed market confidence.
