Bitdeer mined 661 bitcoin in March, a 480% increase from a year earlier. By the end of March, the company’s self-owned bitcoin mining power had reached about 70 EH/s, up 504% year over year. The company said roughly 225,000 of its approximately 262,000 machines are dedicated exclusively to proprietary mining operations.
Managed hashrate rises to 78.1 EH/s
As of March 2026, Bitdeer’s total managed hashrate climbed to 78.1 EH/s, compared with 71 EH/s at the end of the previous year. Peer comparisons in the report showed MARA at 66.4 EH/s and CleanSpark at 47.3 EH/s. The global Bitcoin network was running at about 855 EH/s, slightly below the level seen at the start of the year but still well above historical averages.
Matt Kong, Bitdeer’s Head of Business Development, said the company sees the current pace as evidence of market potential and of its ability to deliver high-performance AI infrastructure. Bitdeer is also working to expand its global energy capacity to 3 gigawatts.
SEALMINER A4 rollout nears completion
On the hardware side, Bitdeer said it is in the final stage of integrating its SEALMINER A4 series into in-house mining operations. The A4 line carries an energy efficiency of about 9.45 J/T. In March, the company also launched the SEALMINER DL1 Air, a machine built for Scrypt-based networks such as Litecoin and Dogecoin.
According to the company, the new machines should improve both energy efficiency and processing capacity. Outside mining, utilization for Bitdeer’s AI Cloud services has reached 94%. The company said that level supports annual revenue potential of more than $43 million for the segment, with monthly growth at 105%.
CleanSpark and Canaan also report expansion
CleanSpark said it mined 658 bitcoin in March, bringing its year-to-date total to 1,799 bitcoin. By month-end, its self-owned mining power stood at 50 EH/s. The company manages more than 1.8 gigawatts of energy, land, and data center infrastructure in the United States, with 808 megawatts already in operation. CEO Matt Schultz said CleanSpark is moving beyond mining and preparing to land its first major client in AI and high-performance computing.
Canaan reported March production of 89 bitcoin. At the end of the month, the company held 1,808 BTC and 3,952 ETH in digital assets. Its operational hashrate reached 10.97 EH/s, with another 4.4 EH/s tied to a joint venture with Cipher Mining. In February, Canaan acquired a 49% stake in Cipher’s three Texas mining facilities. The company said its global installed energy capacity rose to 266.3 megawatts, while the Texas partnership added another 120 megawatts in West Texas.
