Odaily reported that Bitget Wallet has officially opened its all-token payment capability. According to the wallet, users can now use thousands of cryptocurrencies beyond USDT and USDC for card top-ups and QR-code payments. The process does not require users to manually swap assets or complete cross-chain operations on their own, bringing a wider range of on-chain assets into real-world payment flows.

Service Now Covers More Than 50 Countries and Regions

Bitget Wallet said the capability has already been rolled out across Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America and selected emerging markets, covering more than 50 countries and regions in total. The supported use cases include card recharge and scan-to-pay transactions, with the main change being an expansion from common stablecoin payments to a broader set of crypto assets held by users in their wallets.

The first group of supported tokens includes mainstream assets such as USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, BNB, BGB and POL. It also includes ecosystem and community tokens such as SHIB. Regional stablecoins are part of the supported list as well, including BRZ, the Brazilian stablecoin, and XSGD, the Singapore dollar stablecoin. This initial scope therefore spans major assets, community tokens and regional stablecoin categories.

Onchain Payments Matrix Supports Multi-Chain Coverage

The new payment capability is powered by Onchain Payments Matrix. Bitget Wallet said it currently covers more than 10 public blockchains, including Polygon, BNB Chain, Ethereum and Base. The wallet also stated that it will continue to expand support for more tokens and networks, so that additional on-chain assets can be used in card top-up and QR-code payment scenarios.

Bitget Wallet said the move is intended to bring on-chain assets into users’ daily consumption and payment scenarios, while further improving the practical value of cryptocurrencies. With this update, the wallet’s payment function extends from stablecoin-based usage to a broader multi-token model, allowing users to spend supported assets directly in real-world consumption settings.
