BitoPro, the exchange operated by Taiwan-based BitoGroup, ranked first in both "most used" and "most trusted" among B2C users in CRIF’s latest survey on the future development of Taiwan’s virtual asset industry and its regulatory framework. In the B2B market, the company ranked first in "most trusted" and second in "most used."
BitoGroup also said its "points-to-crypto" service, launched in partnership with FamilyMart, was selected for the Global Blockchain Business Council’s (GBBC) "101 Real-World Blockchain Use Cases Handbook" for 2026 as the No. 50 case globally.
CRIF survey placed BitoPro at the top in consumer trust and usage
According to the press release, BitoGroup received both market and international recognition as of Aug. 28, 2026. The company cited CRIF’s latest report, titled "Survey on the Future Development of Taiwan’s Virtual Asset Industry and Regulatory Mechanisms," as showing that BitoPro had become the most used and most trusted local platform.
BitoGroup said it has focused on using technology to solve problems since its founding in 2014, and has treated compliance, security and risk management as the foundation for industry growth. The release also said that after the third reading of the Virtual Asset Service Act, Taiwan’s virtual asset industry formally moved toward a legal framework, and that BitoGroup has continued to respond early to regulatory requirements, participate in industry policy discussions through trade associations, and invest in anti-fraud efforts and market education.
Enterprise push centers on stablecoin settlement and Web3 integration
CRIF’s survey results, as cited in the release, showed that BitoPro ranked first in both "most used" and "most trusted" in the B2C personal user market. In the B2B enterprise market, it ranked first in "most trusted" and second in "most used."
To address cross-border trade and corporate transformation needs, BitoGroup said it officially launched its enterprise application sub-brand, Bito.Enterprise, this year. The company described the offering as open-service based, designed to help financial institutions and enterprises connect more quickly with real-world Web3 use cases, including stablecoin settlement, points-to-crypto conversion and a cryptocurrency payment gateway.
Its stablecoin settlement service, Bito.ONE, has already started pilot and trial programs with four financial institutions and 10 enterprises, according to the release.
FamilyMart points-to-crypto model entered GBBC handbook as Case No. 50
BitoGroup said its innovation in points-to-crypto conversion also received international recognition. The GBBC recently released the 2026 edition of the "101 Real-World Blockchain Use Cases Handbook," which compiles representative blockchain applications from around the world and is described in the release as a reference for governments, regulators and central banks.
BitoGroup was included with the case titled "Points-to-Crypto: Taiwan’s World-First Retail-to-Web3 Ecosystem for Financial Inclusion," listed as the handbook’s No. 50 global case.
The case outlines the company’s service with FamilyMart, which allows reward points accumulated through everyday spending to be converted into virtual assets. BitoGroup said the model links retail, the points economy and Web3 applications, creating a path from daily consumer activity into Web3.
CEO says the company will keep building on compliance, security and technology
BitoGroup founder and CEO Cheng Kuang-tai said: "BitoGroup has long invested in innovation, compliance and industry development, and that work has now received recognition from both the market and the international community. The company will continue to build on compliance, security and technology to help the public, enterprises and financial institutions expand virtual asset use cases, and bring more Taiwan-born innovation models to the international stage."
The company said that as Taiwan’s virtual asset regulatory environment becomes more complete, it plans to continue rolling out B2C services and diversified virtual asset products. On the B2B side, Bito.ONE has already begun pilot cooperation with financial institutions and enterprises, while its points-to-crypto service and cryptocurrency payment gateway already have mature implementation technology and commercialized examples, according to the release.
