Bitwise’s Chainlink spot ETF, CLNK, officially began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on January 14, becoming the second spot ETF tied to LINK currently available to investors. On its first day of trading, the fund posted a net inflow of $2.59 million, generated $3.24 million in trading volume, and reached a total net asset value of $5.18 million.

Early demand emerges for LINK exposure

The first-day inflow suggests there is measurable investor interest in regulated market access to Chainlink exposure. Structurally, the ETF supports cash and in-kind redemptions and charges a 0.34% management fee. However, the product does not currently include staking, meaning investors do not receive any staking-related yield through the fund.

Grayscale product saw no new daily inflows

By comparison, the Grayscale Chainlink Trust ETF recorded no new net inflows on the same day. Even so, its historical cumulative net inflows stand at $63.78 million, indicating that it remains the larger and more established product within this niche segment.

Across the broader market, total net assets in LINK spot ETFs reached $95.87 million, while cumulative historical net inflows rose to $66.38 million. These figures suggest that although the Chainlink ETF category is still relatively early in development, it is beginning to build meaningful scale.

A growing niche in crypto investment products

The launch of CLNK adds another pathway for investors seeking crypto exposure through traditional brokerage accounts rather than direct token custody. For market participants who want exposure to LINK without managing wallets or on-chain assets, a spot ETF may offer a more familiar structure. Going forward, attention is likely to center on whether CLNK can sustain inflows, how competition evolves among LINK-based funds, and whether future products may introduce staking-related features.
