On June 4, according to on-chain monitoring by OnchainLens, BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, deposited 5,212 BTC and 20,000 ETH into cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase. Based on market prices, the Bitcoin portion was valued at approximately $325 million, and the Ethereum portion at about $35.13 million, bringing the total to around $360 million.
BlackRock has been actively expanding its digital asset footprint, notably launching a spot Bitcoin ETF for which Coinbase serves as the custodian. This large transfer highlights the institution's deepening involvement in the crypto market.
