Arkham posted a screenshot on Aug. 31 showing a wallet tagged "Bonk Guy Fomo" with about $5 million in weekly unrealized gains, including roughly $4.4 million from PONS. @theunipcs replied the next day that the figure would soon be $6.5 million. Based on the report, he bought PONS near a $6 million market cap, and the token has since reached about $500 million, implying a roughly 83x return.
PONS is the native token of Pons Labs on Robinhood Chain, not an official Robinhood product. Robinhood Chain launched its mainnet in July, and Pons quickly became one of the most active non-custodial launchpads on the L2 by token volume and trading activity. Pons Labs said on Sept. 3 that 24-hour volume had reached $400 million, while GMGN data showed the market cap briefly climbed above $500 million.
The article also revisits the trading history behind the Bonk Guy name: his early days in crypto, the 2023 BONK trade that made him famous, later public wins in WIF and Fartcoin, the large liquidation event in October 2025, and his move to the FOMO social trading platform in May 2026, where he said his portfolio had reached an all-time high of about $6 million in late August.
On Aug. 31, Arkham posted a screenshot showing a wallet labeled "Bonk Guy Fomo" with about $5 million in weekly unrealized gains, including roughly $4.4 million from PONS. The address was said to have accumulated about 1% of the supply near a $6 million market cap and barely moved after that.
@theunipcs responded the next day: "I'm a fan of Arkham, but it will soon be $6.5 million."
If PONS is valued at about $500 million now, that entry point would translate into an estimated 83x return.
PONS is the platform token built by Pons Labs on Robinhood Chain, not an official Robinhood product. Robinhood Chain launched its mainnet in July, and Pons quickly became the most concentrated non-custodial launchpad on the L2 in terms of token issuance and trading volume. About 80% of the protocol share from trading fees is used for buybacks and burns.
On Sept. 3, Pons Labs said its 24-hour trading volume had reached $400 million. GMGN market data showed the token's market cap briefly broke above $500 million.
The trader behind the Bonk Guy nickname is the same person known as theunipcs. He has said the name came from a mix of Uniswap and PancakeSwap, where he first traded low-cap tokens. In a long Bybit interview in January 2025, he said his first Bitcoin exposure came more than a decade ago through reporting tied to Silk Road. He lost a five-figure starting bankroll, rebuilt with a low four-figure amount, and later shifted most of his capital into meme coins. The GME and Dogecoin wave in 2021 convinced him that memes were his main lane.
His best-known trade came in October 2023, when he used about $16,000 and 6x leverage to go long BONK on Bybit, then a token with a market cap of around $20 million. At the peak, his paper profit topped $20 million. In November 2024, he disclosed two more figures: the position had been open for 13 months and had paid about $1.879 million in funding fees, while he still held it after a 70% to 80% drawdown from the high.
Other public trades he later discussed included WIF, where $6,000 grew to a peak profit of about $1.4 million, and Fartcoin, which at one point showed more than $8 million in unrealized gains. He also traded POPCAT, PNUT and FLOKI, among others.
In June 2024, The Defiant highlighted how split the community was on him. Some compared him to crypto's Roaring Kitty; others argued he was simply performing at the top. When BONK fell back from its peak, he also drew criticism on X for his calls.
Then came the October 2025 liquidation event, when about $20 billion was wiped out across the market. The next day, he wrote that all of his perpetual positions had been liquidated, including BONK, FARTCOIN, POPCAT, PNUT, CAT and APEX. He said the portfolio had been up more than $30 million at the peak and still showed more than $15 million just before the blowup. He also said the ASTER he had posted as DeFi collateral was down about 80%. Most of his USELESS spot position remained. "I'll make it back," he wrote.
He moved to the FOMO social trading platform in May 2026. In late August, he said his FOMO portfolio had reached an all-time high of about $6 million and had made roughly $3 million over the previous 30 days, with 14 of 17 trades still in profit at the time. On Sept. 2, the platform said he had topped three leaderboards.
Alongside PONS, he has also been promoting MARSCOIN, USELESS and a basket of other Robinhood Chain tokens. He said his conviction in USELESS was even stronger than it had been when he traded BONK in 2023.
A single trade worth more than $5 million in profit is still far from his highest mark, but Bonk Guy appears to be pushing for another comeback.
