ChainCatcher reported, citing data from Coinglass, that BTC is facing two notable liquidation-intensity levels on major centralized exchanges. If BTC drops below $60,310, the cumulative long liquidation intensity across major CEXs will reach $1.074 billion. In the opposite direction, if BTC rises above $66,290, the cumulative short liquidation intensity across major CEXs will reach $709 million.
Liquidation intensity around $60,310 and $66,290
The data shows that the long liquidation intensity below $60,310 is higher than the short liquidation intensity above $66,290. Liquidation intensity is a metric used to show where leveraged positions face concentrated forced-liquidation pressure at different price levels; it is not the same as the amount of liquidation that has already occurred. The figures were provided by Coinglass and cover major CEXs.
