The figure refers to the funding rate reading for BTC perpetual contracts under the current 8-hour measurement window and represents the average level shown by Coinglass at the time of reporting.
Among the major exchanges listed in the data, Binance recorded a BTC funding rate of 0.006%, OKX recorded 0.0001%, Bybit recorded -0.0047%, and Gate recorded 0.0022%. Based on these figures, Binance’s rate is above the network-wide average, Bybit’s rate is negative, OKX’s rate is close to zero, and Gate’s rate is positive.
Funding rates are used in perpetual contract markets for periodic settlement between long and short positions. The ChainCatcher update only provided the current BTC 8-hour average funding rate under Coinglass data and the corresponding rates for Binance, OKX, Bybit, and Gate.
