ChainCatcher reported that, according to Coinglass data, BTC is facing two notable conditional liquidation levels across major centralized exchanges. If BTC breaks above $65,864, cumulative short liquidation intensity on major CEXs will reach $2.093 billion.
Liquidation intensity levels on both sides of price
On the downside, if BTC falls below $59,834, cumulative long liquidation intensity on major CEXs will reach $704 million. The figures compare the liquidation pressure associated with two different price conditions, showing that the estimated short liquidation intensity above the market is higher than the long liquidation intensity below the market.
Liquidation intensity data is commonly used to observe where leveraged positions are concentrated at specific price levels in the derivatives market. In this report, the data source is Coinglass, and the exchange scope refers to major CEXs.
