According to data from Coinglass, if Bitcoin's price breaks above the $65,413 level, the cumulative short liquidation intensity on major centralized exchanges (CEXs) could reach $1.921 billion. Liquidation intensity is an estimate of the potential liquidation value based on open interest and leverage, meaning higher values could lead to cascading liquidations once the price moves past the threshold.
Conversely, if Bitcoin drops below $59,473, the cumulative long liquidation intensity on major CEXs would amount to $1.188 billion. These two price points represent key support and resistance zones in the current market, and the direction of a breakout could significantly impact short-term long-short dynamics.
The on-chain data provider Coinglass regularly compiles liquidation data across exchanges, offering traders reference points for liquidity. The latest figures show that short positions are more concentrated around $65,413, while long positions are relatively thin near $59,473.
