According to Odaily, Bubblemaps monitoring showed that WCUP, a FIFA-related token launched yesterday, climbed rapidly in early trading and reached a peak market capitalization of about $50 million. Bubblemaps said roughly 95% of the token supply was captured immediately at launch by more than 30 newly created wallets, all of which had no prior on-chain history.
The monitoring data indicated that those wallets were funded within the half hour before WCUP went live, with deposits coming from multiple centralized exchanges. After acquiring the tokens, the wallets used Uniswap Router to distribute the holdings across more than 2,500 new addresses. Bubblemaps described the activity as a pattern of highly concentrated initial control followed by broad address-level dispersion.
Bubblemaps also noted that the project documentation only made general references to presale and partner allocations. The firm said it did not find a direct on-chain link to the team, but it identified the high concentration of supply and undisclosed paid KOL promotion arrangements as major risks.
