According to ChainCatcher, citing BTCTreasuries, Bitcoin treasury company Capital B has disclosed that its shareholders’ meeting approved a large-scale financing plan. The approval allows the company to raise up to approximately $5.76 billion through the issuance of new shares, while also refinancing up to approximately $115.2 billion through credit instruments. The stated use of the financing is to further increase the company’s Bitcoin holdings.

Equity issuance and credit tools form the approved route

The approved structure combines an equity financing channel with refinancing through credit instruments, creating an authorization framework for Capital B to expand its Bitcoin treasury position. Based on current prices, the theoretical size of the financing could support the purchase of more than 1.87 million BTC. The report said this reflects that the company continues to maintain a highly expansionary approach to crypto-asset allocation.

Based on the disclosed resolution, Capital B may continue to enlarge its Bitcoin holdings through a dual path of “equity plus debt instruments.” With this authorization in place, the company’s balance-sheet structure and exposure to the crypto market are set to become further reinforced as its Bitcoin treasury strategy moves toward a larger scale.
