Circle has officially launched Managed Services, aimed at reducing technical and compliance barriers to stablecoin adoption. The first product, CPN Managed Payments, allows businesses to stay fully fiat-native while tapping into USDC settlement globally through a single API integration.
According to Circle, stablecoin payment volumes exceeded $390 billion in 2025, with trillions of dollars moving across public blockchains annually. Stablecoins are becoming a core component of global financial infrastructure, pushing more firms to explore blockchain-based payments.
Technical and Regulatory Hurdles Persist
Despite surging demand, enterprise adoption of stablecoins remains uneven. Many firms lack in-house digital asset expertise; others are deterred by the complexity of compliance, custody, and blockchain integration. Fragmented service provider ecosystems further drive up costs and operational risk.
Circle's Managed Services is designed to address these pain points. By consolidating technology, compliance, and settlement processes, partners can run stablecoin payments within familiar fiat workflows without building blockchain infrastructure from scratch.
CPN Managed Payments: Global Settlement via One API
As the flagship offering under Managed Services, CPN Managed Payments keeps businesses entirely fiat-native. No direct blockchain integration or additional licensing is needed. The system provides global USDC settlement through a single API, with Circle managing wallets, liquidity, and payment orchestration.
The service supports the full payment flow from pay-in to payout. Businesses can embed stablecoin settlement into existing operations without restructuring internal systems. Circle noted the product is especially relevant for payment service providers, banks, and fintech firms.
Gradual Migration and Scalability
Circle emphasized that a single integration dramatically simplifies stablecoin adoption. Consolidating services cuts costs tied to fragmented infrastructure. More importantly, the setup supports gradual migration — companies can shift to hybrid or direct chain-based models over time without switching providers.
This flexibility allows firms to adapt their tech stack as business needs and regulatory requirements evolve. Circle stated its full-stack payment infrastructure offers partners the stability and continuity to scale across markets.
