Coinbase has released a system-wide upgrade centered on combining AI functions with access to multiple asset categories inside a single application. The new rollout introduces an AI investment adviser and AI agent-based trade execution, extending the platform’s role from order placement into investment support and automated execution within the same product environment.
The upgrade also broadens the range of assets available through Coinbase’s integrated framework. According to the announcement, the platform is bringing together tokenized stocks, Pre-IPO perpetual contracts, thematic equity indexes, stock options and crypto options. This places equity-linked products, derivatives and crypto assets into one operating structure rather than treating them as separate product lines.
Coinbase is also strengthening several supporting components, including a global unified liquidity pool, a USDC-collateralized credit card, staking and lending protection, and infrastructure connected to the Base ecosystem. Taken together, these additions are designed to support an integrated “Everything Exchange” financial platform spanning trading, investing, spending and borrowing.
