Coinglass data shows the Coinbase Bitcoin Premium Index has remained in negative territory for 60 consecutive days since May 19, extending the longest such streak on record for the indicator. The latest reading stood at -0.0908% as of July 17, according to BlockBeats. The previous longest run of negative readings lasted 40 days, from Jan. 16 to Feb. 24 this year. That stretch had already surpassed the roughly 30-day period of continuous negative premium seen during the "1011 crash." The latest data now pushes the record further, marking a new high in duration for the index’s negative run.

On July 17, BlockBeats reported, citing Coinglass data, that the Coinbase Bitcoin Premium Index has remained in negative territory for 60 consecutive days since May 19. The latest reading was -0.0908%.

The streak extends the longest continuous run of negative premium since the indicator was introduced. Previously, the index stayed negative for 40 straight days from Jan. 16 to Feb. 24 this year, which was then the longest negative stretch on record. That earlier run was also longer than the roughly 30 consecutive days of negative premium recorded during the "1011 crash."
