ChainCatcher reports, citing Coinglass data, that total liquidations across the entire market reached $401 million over the past 24 hours. By asset, Bitcoin saw $90.05 million in long liquidations and $41.648 million in short liquidations. Ethereum recorded $73.7669 million in long liquidations and $33.1289 million in short liquidations. Both major assets were hit by sizable forced closures, and in both cases, long positions were liquidated more than shorts.

Coinglass also showed that 97,472 traders were liquidated globally in the last 24 hours. The largest single liquidation occurred on Binance BTCUSDT, with a value of $4.9661 million. The statistics indicate that this round of liquidations was centered mainly on BTC and ETH positions.
