ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that the key downside liquidation level for BTC is $60,468. If BTC drops below this price, cumulative long liquidation intensity across major centralized exchanges will reach $1.242 billion. The figure reflects concentrated liquidation pressure on long derivatives positions around that price area.
On the upside, the same Coinglass data shows that if BTC breaks above $66,452, cumulative short liquidation intensity on major CEXs will reach $1.122 billion. In other words, short positions around that upper price level also correspond to a liquidation intensity measured in the billion-dollar range.
The data focuses on liquidation distribution across major centralized exchanges. The main comparison is between long liquidation intensity below $60,468 and short liquidation intensity above $66,452. The two figures cited in the Coinglass statistics are $1.242 billion and $1.122 billion, respectively.
