According to ChainCatcher, citing data from Coinglass, total liquidations across the crypto market reached $539 million over the past 24 hours. Long positions accounted for $162 million of that amount, while short positions accounted for $377 million. Liquidation data tracks positions that are forcibly closed in derivatives trading when margin requirements are not met.
By asset, Bitcoin-related long liquidations totaled $39.5378 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations totaled $90.5111 million. For Ethereum, long liquidations reached $51.0464 million, and short liquidations reached $148 million. All figures refer to the latest 24-hour period covered by the Coinglass data.
Coinglass also reported that 111,525 traders were liquidated globally during the same 24-hour window. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance - ETHUSDT, with a value of $12.029 million. The figures provide a snapshot of forced position closures in the crypto derivatives market during the reported period.
