Of that amount, long-position liquidations stood at $57.3395 million, while short-position liquidations reached $121 million. The figures refer to forced position closures in crypto derivatives markets triggered by price movements.
Bitcoin and Ethereum Liquidation Breakdown
By asset, Bitcoin-related positions recorded $10.8736 million in long liquidations and $40.657 million in short liquidations. Ethereum-related positions recorded $12.1028 million in long liquidations and $37.2136 million in short liquidations. Coinglass separately listed liquidation amounts for both Bitcoin and Ethereum positions.
During the same 24-hour period, 69,433 traders were liquidated globally. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance - BTCUSDT and was valued at $3.435 million. The liquidation data was provided by Coinglass and reported by ChainCatcher.
