According to ChainCatcher, Coinglass data shows that total crypto contract liquidations across the network reached $101 million over the past 24 hours. Long-position liquidations accounted for $55.7018 million, while short-position liquidations totaled $45.7841 million. Liquidation figures track the scale of leveraged positions that are forcibly closed, with long and short positions representing bullish and bearish trading directions respectively.
By asset, Bitcoin-related positions recorded $4.4538 million in long liquidations and $6.6843 million in short liquidations. Ethereum-related positions saw $3.6972 million in long liquidations and $3.749 million in short liquidations. The separate figures for Bitcoin and Ethereum show that the two major assets remained key components of the overall contract liquidation data during the reporting period.
Coinglass also reported that 77,433 traders worldwide were liquidated in the last 24 hours. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Hyperliquid, involving the HYPE-USD trading pair, with a value of $721,500.
