According to ChainCatcher, Coinglass data shows that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $421 million over the past 24 hours. Long-position liquidations accounted for $186 million, while short-position liquidations totaled $235 million, meaning short liquidations were higher than long liquidations during the period.
Bitcoin and Ethereum liquidation figures
By asset, Bitcoin long liquidations stood at $47.4929 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations reached $45.9053 million. For Ethereum, long liquidations totaled $50.4062 million, and short liquidations reached $74.1645 million. Among these listed figures, Ethereum short liquidations represented the largest amount.
Coinglass data also shows that 100,914 traders worldwide were liquidated in the most recent 24-hour period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance in the ETHUSDT pair, with a value of $9.0893 million.
