ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $215 million over the past 24 hours. Long positions accounted for $123 million of that amount, while short liquidations totaled $91.2123 million. The figures reflect forced position closures across the broader derivatives market during the latest 24-hour reporting window.
Bitcoin and Ether liquidation breakdown
By asset, Bitcoin long liquidations reached $21.7267 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations stood at $23.0648 million. For Ether, long liquidations totaled $26.8932 million, and short liquidations reached $26.2766 million. Both Bitcoin and Ether saw liquidation volumes on each side of the market in the tens of millions of dollars.
Coinglass data also showed that 79,465 traders worldwide were liquidated in the past 24 hours. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Aster - ETHUSDT, with a value of $10.4925 million.
