ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $174 million over the past 24 hours. Long-position liquidations stood at $52.7906 million, while short-position liquidations reached $122 million. Liquidation figures refer to forced closures of leveraged trading positions when margin conditions are no longer sufficient, and the data covers the latest 24-hour clearing activity across the broader derivatives market.
Bitcoin and Ethereum Liquidation Breakdown
For Bitcoin-related positions, long liquidations totaled $9.1806 million, while short liquidations reached $40.4291 million. For Ethereum-related positions, long liquidations amounted to $11.218 million, while short liquidations stood at $36.9101 million. In the reported figures for both Bitcoin and Ethereum, short liquidations were higher than long liquidations during the same 24-hour period.
Coinglass data also showed that 68,852 traders were liquidated globally over the past 24 hours. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance in the BTCUSDT trading pair, with a value of $3.435 million. This order was the largest individual liquidation disclosed within the 24-hour statistical window.
