According to ChainCatcher, citing Coinglass data, total liquidations across the crypto market reached $143 million over the past 24 hours. By position direction, long liquidations totaled $69.5254 million, while short liquidations totaled $73.6071 million, putting short-side liquidations above long-side liquidations during the reporting period. Liquidation data records forced position closures in derivatives markets when margin conditions are no longer met.
For Bitcoin-linked positions, long liquidations amounted to $11.0992 million, while short liquidations reached $35.4525 million. For Ethereum-linked positions, long liquidations stood at $11.6166 million, while short liquidations came in at $9.3173 million. Among the listed breakdowns, Bitcoin short liquidations represented the largest single category by amount.
Coinglass also recorded 78,518 traders liquidated globally over the most recent 24-hour period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Bitget in the BTCUSDT_UMCBL contract, with a value of $5.1119 million. The figures were reported by ChainCatcher based on Coinglass data.
