According to ChainCatcher, Coinglass data shows that total crypto market liquidations reached $146 million over the past 24 hours. Long liquidations accounted for $75.9301 million, while short liquidations totaled $70.0565 million. The figures indicate forced liquidations on both sides of leveraged trading positions during the reporting period.
Bitcoin and Ether Liquidation Breakdown
For major assets, Bitcoin long liquidations stood at $16.2209 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations reached $33.7458 million. Ether long liquidations totaled $12.3923 million, and Ether short liquidations came in at $9.1633 million. Based on the reported data, Bitcoin short liquidations were higher than Bitcoin long liquidations, while Ether long liquidations were higher than Ether short liquidations.
Coinglass also reported that 80,641 traders worldwide were liquidated in the most recent 24-hour period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Bitget’s BTCUSDT_UMCBL trading pair, with a value of $5.1119 million.
