According to ChainCatcher, citing Coinglass data, total liquidations across the crypto market reached $146 million over the past 24 hours. Long positions accounted for $75.9301 million of the total, while short positions accounted for $70.0565 million, showing that both sides of the derivatives market experienced sizable forced liquidations during the period.
Bitcoin and Ethereum Liquidation Breakdown
By asset, Bitcoin long liquidations totaled $16.2209 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations reached $33.7458 million. For Ethereum, long liquidations stood at $12.3923 million, and short liquidations came in at $9.1633 million. These figures outline the liquidation distribution among the two major crypto assets over the latest 24-hour window.
Coinglass data also showed that 80,641 traders worldwide were liquidated during the same period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Bitget in the BTCUSDT_UMCBL trading pair, with a value of $5.1119 million.
