According to ChainCatcher, Coinglass data shows that total crypto liquidations across the network reached $129 million over the past 24 hours. Long liquidations amounted to $42.2238 million, while short liquidations totaled $86.6684 million, making short-position liquidations the larger share by direction.
By asset, Bitcoin long liquidations stood at $2.3408 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations reached $38.3842 million. For Ethereum, long liquidations totaled $3.1386 million, and short liquidations came in at $11.0923 million. These figures refer to positions forcibly closed within the latest 24-hour reporting window.
Coinglass data also shows that 75,006 traders were liquidated globally during the same period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Bitget’s BTCUSDT_UMCBL market, with a value of $5.1119 million. Liquidation data is commonly used to track the scale of leveraged position clearing in crypto derivatives markets.
