ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $143 million over the past 24 hours. Long positions accounted for $69.5254 million of the total, while short positions accounted for $73.6071 million. Based on the reported figures, short liquidations were slightly higher than long liquidations during this 24-hour period.
For Bitcoin positions, long liquidations totaled $11.0992 million, while short liquidations reached $35.4525 million. For Ethereum positions, long liquidations stood at $11.6166 million and short liquidations totaled $9.3173 million. The figures show the breakdown of forced position closures by asset and trading direction within the period covered by Coinglass.
Coinglass data also showed that 78,518 traders worldwide were liquidated in the most recent 24 hours. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Bitget in the BTCUSDT_UMCBL market, with a reported value of $5.1119 million.
