According to ChainCatcher, Coinglass data shows that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $137 million over the past 24 hours. Long-position liquidations amounted to $47.1821 million, while short-position liquidations reached $89.4575 million. Liquidation figures track the value of leveraged positions that were forcibly closed during market movement, and the latest data shows a larger liquidation amount on the short side than on the long side.
By asset, Bitcoin-related positions recorded $6.5423 million in long liquidations and $31.5156 million in short liquidations. Ethereum-related positions saw $8.5316 million in long liquidations and $18.9269 million in short liquidations. These figures come from Coinglass statistics for the most recent 24-hour period and cover both long and short positions in the derivatives market.
Coinglass also reported that 67,613 traders worldwide were liquidated during the same 24-hour window. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Bybit’s BTCUSD trading pair, with a value of $2.4157 million. This order was the largest individual forced-closure record disclosed for the reporting period.
